What should I wear to an interview to work in a municipal recreation office?

I was a day camp counsellor last year, and this year I'm going for that position as well as an office aide. The office dress code is what I would call business casual. I don't want to overdress in a suit or anything, but I don't want to look like I'm not taking it seriously either. What sort of outfit and hairstyle should I wear?
