Sony Vegas won't open?

When I try to start sony vegas up and try to run as administrator, the usual loading screen will pop up. However it will always stop on the selection, 'Initializing Video Services,' and just freeze from there. I would wait for an hour and lose hope and just turn it off. I have tried re-installing it many times. I have a Windows 7, 32 bit operating system, with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU Processor. My Display adapter is 'Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family.;
